About the Foundation...

The Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization which was founded by concerned citizens and many volunteers who commit their time, talents and financial resources to advance educational excellence in Aransas County.

The grants awarded by The Education Foundation are made to Aransas County educators. These educators make innovative and creative learning programs, which are not funded by the school budget, available to the children. These special grants enable career skill development and academic education as well as promote student and staff excellence. The Education Foundation provides opportunities for all public school students and covers all subjects including the arts, technology, social skills and basic academics.

The Education Foundation has been a vital force in Aransas county since 2001, and encourages as many citizens as possible to contribute to The Education Foundation's mission and its long term sustainability.
